Omer Barlev – Founder & Chief Executive Officer

For the last twelve years Mr. Barlev has held leading positions in hi-tech companies specializing in imaging and electro-optics. In 2000 Mr. Barlev founded Paieon, based on a technology developed for the Defense and Home-Land Security industry. Prior to his various hi-tech positions, Mr. Barlev served as a Colonel in the Israel Defense Forces. Mr. Barlev holds a B.Sc. degree in Natural Sciences from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an M.A. in International Relations and Strategy from the Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Shahar Mandelboim - VP Research & Development

Mr. Mandelboim brings Paieon over 14 years of diverse software development managerial experience in the fields of telecommunication, knowledge management and medical imaging. Mr. Mandelboim joined Paieon in 2005 and served as a program manager for three years. He was appointed as Vice President of Research and development in 2008. Prior to joining Paieon he served in the elite 8200 unit of the Israeli Military Intelligence and led several highly complex projects. Mr. Mandelboim holds a B.A. degree in Computer Science, cum laude, from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Rafi Brada, PhD - VP Products & Medical Applications

Mr. Brada joined Paieon in 2009, with over 15 years of experience in machine vision and medical imaging. Mr. Brada previously served as a director of R&D at Orbotech Ltd. a company specializing in machine vision and medical imaging equipment. Afterwards he served as VP technology at Arineta Ltd. a startup company developing a dedicated cardiac CT scanner. Mr. Brada holds a PhD in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, an MSc in Physics from the Hebrew University, and a BSc in Physics and Computer Science from the Hebrew University.

 

Mr. Atoun joined Paieon in 2009 after serving as a global product manger at MTRE (acquired by Mennen Medical Group in 2006). Mr. Atoun held several positions at MTRE, initially as a Sales Manger and later on as a Regional Area Manger for Western Europe. With over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry, dealing with marketing and sales of medical devices, consumables and pharmaceuticals, Mr. Atoun brings strong strategic planning skills. Mr. Atoun holds a BSc from Tel-Aviv University and a diploma in Business and Marketing from the College of Management in Tel-Aviv.

Ehud Manheim, CPA – Head of Financial Department

Mr. Manheim joined Paieon in 2003 after serving as the Head of the Finance Department of Vectop, a high-tech company in the Defense and Home-Land Security field. Prior to joining Vectop, Mr. Manheim served as a controller for ELPAS, a high-tech company in the field of local positioning systems. Mr. Manheim was involved in the merger and acquisition of both ELPAS and Vectop by public companies traded in the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. Mr. Manheim is a CPA Isr. and holds a B.A. degree in Business and Accounting specializing in financing from the Tel-Aviv College of Business, Israel.

Danny Harel - General Manager, Paieon US

Mr. Harel joined Paieon in 2008 after serving as President of Mennen Medical’s American subsidiary and later as VP Sales & Marketing for Mennen Medical Group. Prior to Mennen Medical, Mr. Harel served as VP Marketing & Business Development for Scanvec Amiable, a graphic imaging software company. Mr. Harel holds a B.A. degree in Business and Accounting from the college of Management in Tel-Aviv. 

Avi Moses – VP Operations

Mr. Moses joined Paieon in 2009 after serving 19 as a Product Manager of a wide variety of multi discipline products, Director of Service and the Project Management Processes Manager in Orbotech Israel and Orbotech USA, a company specializing in machine vision. Prior to Orbotech, Mr. Moses served as R&D Manager in Orisol LTD, a high-tech company in the field of Optic Inspection. Mr. Moses managed the development and field implementation of high accuracy Opto-Mechanics machines. Mr. Moses is a Computer System Analysis and holds Masters of Business Administration from the Derby University Israel.
